As Nigerians are counting days to February 2023 general elections, The National Coordinator,  Northern Young Professionals for Tinubu/Shetima, Abdullahi Tanko Yakassai has said that the All Progressive Congress, APC would sweep the presidential election as well as other political positions in Kano State

Yakassai spoke against the backdrop that the opposition parties had been claiming that they had-the political strength to win Kano State. 

In an exclusive interview with our correspondent during the APC Presidential Campaign in Gombe State, he said that the opposition parties were  just ranting, pointing out that Kanu State was APC from top to bottom.

.He queried, “How can the opposition boast to win? Kano State has 44 local government Areas., All the local government chairmen are APC members. All the House of Assembly members are APC. All the House of Representatives members are APC and all the senators for the three senatorial zones are APC. The governor is APC. How can The opposition win? How can that happen?”

However, the National Coordinator of the group acknowledged the existence of the opposition political parties in Kano but maintained that they didn’t have the capacity to defeat APC during the election. He called on Kano State in particular and Nigerians in general to vote APC saying, election is around the corner. Everyone should prepare to vote.
