A political heavyweight from Akwa Ibom State, DIG Udom Ekpoudom (Rtd) has posited that the All Progressive Congress (APC) will take over the government of Akwa Ibom State from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in 2023 general elections.

Udom who is aspiring for a senatorial seat in Akwa Ibom State under the APC made the disclosure during the national convention of APC in Abuja on 26/3/2022.

DIG Udom (Rtd) explained that the PDP has failed in the state and that the APC is now ready and highly prepared to take over the state and bring true democracy to the good people of Akwa Ibom State.

On how the internal democracy of the APC can be rated in the state, Udom said that the internal democracy of the APC is very strong and that the party is united and ready to take over the government of the state and win elections at all levels.

DIG Udom (Rtd) said that when elected as a senator, he will support legislation that will impact on the lives of his people especially the youth. He promised that he will be an active legislator and will be initiating bills that will impact on the well-being of Nigerians.
