A group of friends has bought and presented senate seat form and expression of interest to Kudla Milnda Satumari, aka HASKE, on his 52nd birthday. He will be aspiring for the Southern Borno senate position under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

The form was presented by the chairman of Haske Foundation Elder Mbirza Gabasa at the Abuja business office of Mr. Kudla Milnda Satumari.

Presenting the forms, the chairman informed  the gathering how Satumari failed to win the senate seat in 2019 due to massive rigging by the ruling party, All Progressive Congress, (APC) in favour of their candidate, Sen Ali Ndume.

One of the reasons the group decided to procure the forms for him is that they believe that Satumari will serve the zone better than the incumbent, Sen. Ali Ndume.

Another reason is that Southern Borno has 9LGAs of; Askira/Uba, Bayo, Biu, Chibok, Damboa, Gwoza, Hawul, Kwaya-kusar and Shani and that only Gwoza has been producing the senator of the zone since 1999, hence the call for a change.

In conclusion, he urged the audience to support Satumari in any way they can in making sure he becomes the next Senator of Southern Borno come 2023.

Responding to the good gesture of the group, Kudla Satumari said he would be holding the position as the senator of Southern Borno in trust for the people when elected.

On how he can function as a senator of the zone, he said he would bring his national and international influence to bear when elected as the senator of the zone.

He informed the media that his likes are not professional politicians but professionals in politics.

He promised he will influence bills that will impact on the lives of his people taking cognizance of the effect of insurgency on the people.
