Hon Hassan Suleman Afri has been honored by Youth In Nigeria Initiative (YINI) for his philanthropic activities towards the youths. 

Hon Afri who is the Managing Director of Afri Oil Limited was given the award at Karu, Nasarawa State by YINI in a colorful event.

Speaking at the event, the president of YINI Lodiya Dangana said the association chose Hon Afri for the award based on his love for affecting the lives of youths in Nasarawa State and beyond. He said Hon Afri has helped many youths in various ways like giving them money to write exams; providing money to some of them to solve other personal needs.

In his response to the gesture by YINI, Hon Hassan Suleman Afri said that he never expected the award as he has been helping the youths without minding whether people are taking notice of his kindness to the youths or not.

Hon Afri thanked the group and promised that he had been challenged to do more. He then advised the youths to be focused in life so that they will be able to succeed in life.
