A businessman, Cosmas Chanenye Omeje has revealed that the secret of success in business is a small beginning. He said a small beginning means going into business with any little amount of money without waiting to accumulate so much, provided the person has the idea and passion.

He made the statement in Karu Nasarawa State when he was honored for his success in business by a group called Youth in Nigeria Initiative. The award is also for his philanthropic activities in  Karu LGA of Nasarawa State

Speaking at the award ceremony, Cosmas Omeje thanked the group for honoring him with the award. He promised not to fail the youth as he will strive to break more grounds.

Cosmas Omeje who is into several lines of business said he believes in multiple streams of income. “I am into different lines of business. I am into clothing; I am into a sports franchise- Bet9ja. I am into wine retailing and wholesale. I also own a garden”, he explained.

Cosmas Omeje who has about 15 employees on his pay roll said the secret of his success in Karu Local Government Area, Nasarawa State is the peaceful environment and favorable government policies in the area.

He noted that the major problem militating against his type of business is power. He also said that another problem he is having is the difficulty in getting the right people to work with. His words; “Some times you may employ somebody and he will swindle you”.

To encourage his fellow youth, he advised them to start small and be persistent and hard working.
