The Secretary General Aguleri Welfare Association Abuja, Mr. Johnpaul Chukwudi Oforka says it is no longer in doubt that Anambra International Passengers and Cargo Airport currently built by APGA led government of Chief (Dr.) Willie Maduaburochukwu Obiano will soon be a reality. He opined that Federal Government recent approval of Anambra International Airport as second longest runway with 3700m length after Murtala Mohammed International Airport Lagos is a good evidence of dreams actualization of his government. He said that Chief Willie Obiano’s pronouncement on commercial flights operation on October 21st, 2021 needs an applause to his giant stride that marks the fulfilment of his campaign promises during the last election. As a worthy son of Aguleri and Ndi Anambra, Gov. Willie Obiano’s stride won’t be forgotten in a hurry. The economic and human growth the Airport will bring in the near future will always position Anambra State to the entire world. He concluded that Chief Obiano’s initiative of transforming Anambra State through different infrastructural development will always print his name in the Guinness book of Anambra State now and after his tenure.
