


Journalists are seriously preparing to deal severely with a team of FRSC officers in Abuja.
The NUJ Abuja Correspondents Chapel football team has been training hard to be able to defeat their opponents in a scheduled football match with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) team.
The match which is one of the activities scheduled for the Correspondents Chapel Press Week will hold in Abuja.
The 2021 Press Week will take off on Wednesday April 14 at NUJ Secretariat Utako with health talk and free medical checkup.
This will be followed by a lecture to be delivered by the Governor of Benue State, Chief Samuel Ortom. The title of the lecture is, ”Insecurity in Nigeria: Restoring Peace, Unity and Progress”.
The novelty match between Correspondents team versus FRSC will take place on April 17, 2021 at Area 3 Sports Center, Garki by 10.00am.
Preparation is in top gear to ensure that Correspondents Chapel team makes mincemeat of their opponents from FRSC.
For that purpose an unbiased selection of the best footballers among the journalists has been made and it comprises of the following:
