A business mogul, Ambassador Kingsley lfeanyi Okafor has advised rich people to form the habit of helping the youth to achieve their objectives.
Speaking at an event to mark a mile stone in his life, Ambassador Okafor said it is good to raise youths from grass to grace. He narrated how he has been helping youths to become great. One of such youths is KC. He said he registered KC for a contest where over 6 thousand youths participated and KC came first and that was the beginning of his greatness.
He said that KC is related to E-money and that KC lived in his house for one and half years when E-money had not gotten money.
He said at the beginning of Nollywood that he gave the producers of Living In Bondage his house in FESTAC Town, Lagos for the shooting. He said he had offered other producers his house to use at no cost.
Ambassador Kingsley Ifeanyi Okafor is from Awkuzu in Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State. His mother gave birth to ten children and he said he is the only one who did not attend secondary school.
As God may have it, fortune smiled at him and he became rich at tender age and has been helping people in different ways. He is into a lot of businesses. He is the owner of East Coast Football Club, MEETKINGS Travel and Tours Ltd, Hyperfunk League Entertainment.
As a lover and promoter of football, he has hosted football tournaments in Aba, Abia State, Anambra State, Kano, FCT, Abuja, Lagos State and Mararaba in Nasarawa State. In each of the tournaments prices were given to winners in various categories. The irony the whole thing is that none of the participating teams paid money to take part in any of the events.
He has helped many footballers in Nigeria to secure lucrative signings with clubs in Europe.
For his philanthropy the Youths in Nigeria Peace Initiative (YINPI) honoured him with an award on his birthday. The President of YINPI, Ambassador Lodinya Dangana said he was given the award to spur him to do more for the youth.
While receiving the award Ambassador Okafor promised that he will help more youths to realize their dreams.
