Renowned International non-governmental organization, the Mac Arthur Foundation, and Chief Ndubuisi Nzenweofor, of the Nzenweofor Group, a philanthropist, have been honoured by the Embassy Of Ecuador, Young Journalists Forum and Global Rights, Monthly Youth Dialogue, for honouring the August and International Youth Day, edition.

The MacArthur foundation who were represented by Dayo Olaide, a youth engagement expert, presented a paper titled “The Role of Youths in Mitigating Corrupt Practices.”
During his speech, He admonished Youth people to monitor government’s activities, through the Budgets, revenue and expenditure. He said among others young people should get involved, build alliances and encourage each other to mitigate corruption.
On his part the Guest of Honour, Chief Ndubuisi Nzenweofor Chibuzor, urged young people to take initiative to be productive amidst the challenges of the society, adding that his organization would be engaging students in the universities across the country, to ensure that they become more productive upon graduation.
The President of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Comrade Christopher Isiguzo, said young people should not afraid to start small, make the difference in your house, then mobilize other young people with similar ideology to celebrate together to make Nigeria better, because it is not those who have retired that will change the system.
