THE DIFFERENCE FORUM honours young Nigerians

THE DIFFERENCE FORUM is a Non-governmental organization with the objective of preparing the youths for leadership positions in business and politics. The NGO organizes an annual event during which it delivers lectures and honours deserving young Nigerians.
This year’s event took place at the Merit House Maitama Abuja on 25th April, 2019. Two eminent young Nigerians delivered the two major lectures before two plenary sessions followed.
The first lectures were delivered by 27 year old Kingsley Obiukwu who narrated how he founded his business in 2014 after he came back from overseas.
The second lecture was delivered ebullient Tope Fasus of Renewable Party of Nigeria. He was the Presidential candidate of the party in the 2019 general election. He enjoined youths to be focused and creative.
The two plenary sessions were presided over by Tracy E. She asked questions that bother on the ways the youth of the country can be made to believe they can lead the country without fear or favour. All her questions elicited responses from the panelists that encouraged the youths to believe they are the hope of the nation.
Organizers of the event recognized deserving young Nigerians with awards. Among the awardees are Osasu Igbinedion, Prof. Steve Azaiki, Kingsley Obiukwu, among others. Responding after receiving the award, Osasu Igbinedion who said she is not yet 30yrs of age narrated how she established her show when she came back from US in 2014. She said she did not ask her parents to support her when things were not going well for her business. She believes and she is happy that her parents have given her all she needs to survive in live, which is quality education.
