Solar energy has unimaginable possibilities – Gen. Fadunsin (rtd)

The Chairman of A O Demarg Nigeria Limited, Gen Ademola Fadunsin (rtd) has posited that there are unimaginable possibilities in solar energy. He made the assertion at the just concluded Nigeria Alternative Energy Expo (NAEE). “Solar energy is an energy which has unimaginable possibilities. It is also the energy whose power is unlimited”, he explained.
Solar energy is radiant light and heat from the sun that is harnessed using a range of ever-evolving technologies such as solar heating, photovoltaic, solar thermal energy, solar architecture, molten salt power plants and artificial photosynthesis. Solar energy works by capturing the sun’s energy and turning it into electricity for home or business.
A.O. Demarg is a solar power generating company in partnership with Phaesun, iKUBE, SHAKTI Pumps, Africa Energy, International Power Supply (IPS), Autarsys, SMA and Sunlight . The company specializes in the design, supply, installation and servicing of solar energy equipment to provide uninterrupted power solutions for the comfort of humanity, while protecting the environment.
He explains the benefits of renewable and how it does not pollute the environment. He says converting the sun’s energy into usable form of electricity offers the best power solution that is free of pollution. And that its low maintenance requirement also makes it a cost-effective and reliable source of electricity.
On the way government is patronizing those who are not experts in the provision of renewable energy; he says government making to hand it over to professionals.
He noted that solar energy used to be for individual use but says the government is in the process of making alternative energy for use of communities.
He posited that solar energy can serve one for twenty / thirty years, depending on how much is invested and the source of supply.
