AC Paints is a new entrant into the paint industry in Nigeria. It was established seven years ago by Mr. Azubuike Ijebuonwu and his wife Mrs. Egodinma Pauline Ijebuonwu.
The firm was founded when the former business of the couple which was making of TV stands came to a halt. The TV stand was rested when the government of Yar’adua/ Jonathan allowed the importation of all manner of furniture into the country.
The company which is located at Masaka, Nasarawa State produces a wide range of paints like, emulsion, text coat, etc. that can compare favourably with any brand in the world.
Mrs.Ijebuonwu told our correspondent that her husband who is the Chairman of AC paints works very hard to make the brand delight of customers. “My husband is very creative, he had passion for paint making and had in mind to go into large scale production of paints’, she revealed.
Mrs. Ijebuonwu told our correspondent that quality is the watch word at AC Paints. And that is why paint users always ask for AC Paints. The company has a large clientele and has a big place where its workers live. It has a depot where distributors go to buy the company’s products.
One of the problems facing the company like other SMEs is lack of infrastructure and Mrs. Ijebuonwu asks the government to build infrastructure to help Nigerians develop the economy.
