The member representing Orlu, Orsu and Oru Federal Constituency of Imo State in the National Assembly and the Chairman of House Committee on FERMA (Federal Road Management Agency), Hon. Jerry Alagbaoso has identified debt as the major challenge facing the agency.
He made this disclosure in his office during a chat with some news men. “The major challenge the organization is facing is debts. Contractors are being owed a lot of money, you talk about N20bn plus. Although we are making some arrangement to see how the federal government can alleviate the suffering of some of these contractors in term of intervention” he said.
