The Young Journalists Forum, organisers of the monthly Youth Dialogue, in collaboration with the Embassy of Ecuador in Nigeria, confirms that the June edition would hold on the 30th, June, from 9:30am to 12 noon, in Abuja, with the theme :”Harnessing Information Communication Technology, ICT, potentials for Youth Engagement ”
The Ambassador, His Excellency Leopoldo Rovayo, would be the host and give an insight to the Ecuador experience.
It would be recalled that the Ambassador, at the May edition said he would be working towards cutting down the budget of the Embassy, by 10 percent, to support the policies of the new President Lenin Moreno, he added that The partnership with YJF, was a commitment of Embassy to give Young Nigerians opportunity to discuss issues that concern them.
The Special Guest was Prof. Gabriel Dara, National President, Nigeria Oral Literature Association, NOLA, and he posited that education is key for the development of Nigeria. while urging the YJF, to replicate the dialogue in other states of the country, so that more young people can participate.
