Water Board charges FCT residents to protect water installations

Director, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Water Board, Alhaji Hudu Bello has charged the residents of FCT to protect water installations to enable them get improved services stressing that Water Board is committed to rendering quality service to the people.

Bello who spoke to our correspondent at the commissioning of Clean Energy Photovoltaic System at Lower Usuma Dam noted that the gesture would boast the uninterrupted water supply in FCT.

The Director stated that the residents would not only enjoy quality water supply but also improved energy.

He charged FCT residents to see water installations as their own property and not that of the government. This situation, he noted, would make the people to safe guard them, protect them and report any vandal to the appropriate authorities.

Urging the people to pay for the services as and when due, he pointed out that the facilities need to be maintained for efficient service delivery.
