By Kennedy Dimaku, Abuja:
convener of “Solemn Assembly for Nigeria” , Prophetess Happiness Akpan
has posited that Nigeria’s present problems is a situation that
required prayers for solution.
According to her, 2016 is a year that has come with different kinds of
issues that it could be regarded as a year of famine. She said that it
requires a prophet to stand in the gap so that the nation would not
perish, hence the convening of Solemn Assembly for Nigeria with theme:
National Glory, stressing that Nigeria is in need of prayers and
calling on people, both young and old to come and cry Abba Father for
God to heal the land.
Akpan who is prophetess of Higherflyers Heroes Outreach Ministry,
Abuja said that she had gotten the message from God and disseminated
same to other men of God so that everybody would play his/her role in
calling upon God to intervene and heal the land in order to ameliorate
the suffering of the people.
In her words, “let no man put his trust in man. But put your hope in
God. Let’s put our trust in God and cry to Him. The vision has been
spread all over Nigeria and the Ministers of God are rising up to the
occasion. I want to tell those who are leading this country to turn
their focus to God. They cannot lead well without God guiding them.
The president, governors, ministers and all those in authority should
summit themselves to God and let God lead the way, then the nation
would be at peace.
A Guest Minister, Apostle B.A Makanjuola in his message titled: A new
Nation born out of Sacrifice, stressed the need for every child of God
to draw nearer to God more than ever, this situation he said
would enable the nation to come to a new realm. He called on those in
leadership positions to seek the face of God as well as those who are
used by God.
