By Kennedy Dimaku:
Ahead of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Area Council Election, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Councillorship candidate for Dutse Ward, Bwari Area Council, Hon Joshua Musa Ishaku has stressed the need for electorate to elect candidates who are experienced noting that assumption of leadership positions by unqualified and incompetent hands has led to leadership failure in the country.
Ishaku who spoke exclusively to our correspondent noted that at the grassroots level, the electorate knows the quality of candidates and what they are capable of.
According to him, “These days, it’s not all about party. It is all about the candidate and what he can do. As a grassroots politician, the people know me, they know where I come from, they know my antecedent, and they know what I can do. The neighbors know who I am and they are the ones speaking for me.” Said the Mechanical Engineering Technician turned poultry and fish farmer.
He made it known that aside his legitimate law making business, he would explore his wealth of knowledge as a successful farmer to engage the teeming youths who are roaming about in search of white collar job that is not in existence.
The Dutse councillorship candidate said, if elected, he would contribute in making laws that would make companies in Bwari live up to their social responsibilities to the host communities.
He called on the electorate to vote for him and APC considering that he has better things to offer that would better the live of the people.
