APC vows to embark on people oriented projects

Chairmanship candidate of All Progressive Congress, APC, in  Suleja
Local Government Area of Niger State, Hon Ahmed Diko Kassim has stated
that he would embark on people orientated projects in order to bring
development to the grassroots which would better the living standard
of the people, if voted into power.
He noted that he had made his manifesto known to the people and would
strictly follow it. For instance, Kassim pointed out that he would
decongest Suleja main town by opening up the western axis.  To achieve
this feat, He revealed that he would construct a bypass road which
would begin from Maji and terminate at Zuba.
Speaking exclusively to our correspondent, Kassim pointed out that he
has been in the business of rendering services to his people right
from the time he was the speaker of Suleja Legislative House.   And
had garnered experiences that would enable him serve his people well.
According to him, he would upgrade the primary health care centers
which have been overstretched as a result of influx of people into the
local government, as well as building new ones, with the intention to
upgrading primary health centers to cottage hospitals in order to meet
the health need of the people.
He maintained that the education sector would be given adequate
priority visa vie revamping dilapidated schools and building new ones.
In his words, “One of my priorities is on security considering the
proximity of Suleja to the Federal Capital Territory, FCT. I also want
to pursue youths and women empowerment because of the vital role they
play in the society” He posited
The former Speaker, Suleja Local Government expressed optimism that
he would emerge victorious in the election and called on his
supporters in particular and the people of the local government in
general  to maintain peace during and after the election as no
meaningful  development would be achieved in a crises ridden society.
