Engr. Ndirpaya Battah Yaga has an intimidating profile from a humble background to stardom. Born 26th April, 1964 in Danga, Chibok Local government Area of Borno state. The young Battah had his early education at the Mbalala Primary school, between 1971 to 1978. He proceeded to Government Secondary School Damboa between 1978 to 1982 and the prestigious University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) from 1982 to 1988, where he obtained a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Engr. Battah is an Accredited Engineering Economist (EEEcons), Accredited Cost Engineer (ASCostE), and Accredited Senior Valuer (ASVal).
He has since undergone several trainings which includes certificate in Project Feasibility Study, at the Center for Management Development in 1995, certificate in Pre-Shipping Inspection organized by BIVAC International in Paris, France in 2000, certificate Intensive Training for Civil Servants on Grade Level 12 to 14 organised by Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Abuja in 2002 among other numerous trainings within and outside Nigeria.
