on of his committee by the Christopher Giwa led NFF board said he is a law abiding citizen of Nigeria, therefore, his acceptance to work with Giwa led board is because they are recognize by the court of the land and not a foreign firm as acclaim by Pinnick led group of friends.

“I Bar. Ikye Igbokwe will not be the type that will disobey the order of the court. I am here because the court has said that Giwa and his board members are the authentic board members of the NFF. Meanwhile, as the issue is going on our football has to keep moving forward,” he said.

Responding to questions from Journalists over the reception the minister of sports, Tammy Danagogo and Amaju Pinnick held for the victorious Super Falcons in Lagos on Monday, Igbokwe said, that is lawlessness of the highest order, stating that Giwa should quickly go to court to have Pinnick face contempt of court.

“That is a clear case of contempt of court, I hope the government of this country is watching the clear orders of the court being disobeyed with impunity. You were there when the Adamwa acting governor Fintiri was removed and he left office, so if suspicions are coming out and the government of the day are keeping quite, that is the highest disrespectful of the court and I believe that those that went to court to get that order should take a step further by going back to the same judge because if people are not committed to prison in this country, people would not obey the laws of the land and nobody is above the law,” he warned.
