The CEO/MD of KENNILA Electrical Nig. Ltd, Chief Kenneth Anaemah, a business man and philanthropist per excellence, has supported the creation of additional State in the South-East region of Nigeria, which is made up of Igbo speaking people in the country. Out of the six regions in the country, it is only the South-East that has five states; others have at least six states.
The creation of an additional state was one the resolutions at the just concluded National Conference held in Aduja, Nigeria. One on the names proposed for the new state include; Adada State, Ajaba State etc. Chief Anaemeh said the idea to create a new state in region will bring equity and fairness in the country. He made this disclosure during a courtesy call to his office in Abuja by some members of Ogene Ndi’Igbo, an association of Igbo Journalists.
Chief Anaemeh urged the leadership of Ogene Ndi’Igbo to endeavor to always project the Igbo course in their practice of journalism. He also promised to be part of the association activities through moral and financial supports.
Responding of behalf of the group, the chairman of Ogene Ndi’Igbo, Abba Eku Onyeka assure Chief Anaemeh that his leadership will not fail in their mandate to be voice of the Igbos in Nigeria. In company of Onyeka were other members of the association thus; Chief Geo Anika, Victor Mbah-Agbai, Samuel Nworah and Joy Idam.
