The chairman of Lobi Stars FC of Makurdi, Dominic Iorfa has said that if elected into office as the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president, he will do all within his powers to ends the re-occurrence crisis bedeviling the federation every four years.

Iorfa made this pledge in an exclusive interview with urbanpaparazzionline.com in Abuja. He said the crisis every four years was as a result of greed and selfish ambitions of those who have occupied the position in the past.

“While, we keep having this crisis is because the past leaders were greed, and self centre individuals. After four years no matter your achievements if you notice that you are no longer favored why you won’t let go, is NFF your only job?”

Iorfa was a former NFF board member during Sani Lulu Abdullahi led board. He is also a former ex-international and currently the chairman of a Nigeria Professional Football League side Lobi. According to him, he will bring my experience in the game of football as a former player and a coach and football administrator to bear as the president of NFF.

He further stated that the first thing he will do as the president is to trace the course of the crisis and tackle it headlong as well as run an all-inclusive administration that would be void of hidden agenda.
“I will first and foremost educate my board members that the job of NFF executive board is a trust and a commitment to our nation and not only our families and pocket. If that is done, then they need to know that we did not get there on our own therefore, we must do what is expected of us and leave the rest for God.”
