Cross River State Government, others condole the Ukpo family over the demise of their brother

The Cross River State Government amongst several others has condoled, the Ukpo family over the demise Sir, Dominic Augustine Yegwa Obaje Ukpo, who died on the 18th of July, 2014, while recuperating from an ailment.
His Excellency Sen. Liyel Imoke in a condolence message signed by him, to the Ukpo family and address to Gen. Anthony Ukpo (Rtd), tilted “ letter of condolence” dated, 24 July, 2014, averred that, “On behalf of my family and the Government and people of Cross River State , I write to express my deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolence on the recent passing of your dear brother Sir, Dominic Augustine Yegwa Ukpo (KSM), who was a committed and honoured citizen of the state, a community leader and a leading light of the Christian faith who was elected the worthy metropolitan Grand Knight of Calabar Ecclesiastical province.”

Rt. Hon Larry Odey Speaker Cross River State House of Assembly in his condolence message noted that “it is very a crucial moment for the family, I will to urge them not to forget to turn to the good Lord who is the only one, that can console and comfort. We know the man we have lost is a loss not just to the Ukpo family alone, but also a loss to every son and daughter of Yala, Ogoja, Northern Senatorial District and the State at large.”
