A foremost female Archbishop in Nigeria, Lady Chy Oriaku, PhD. has made a startling revelation that God raised her to empower Igbo women. The founder of Female Bishops and Crowned Women Peace Initiative (FBCWPI)is a princess and married to a prince and this makes a double crowned lady. She told our correspondent that her mission has been ordained by God to package Igbo women for greater tasks in Nation building.
Her NGOs; Lady Chy New World Order Foundation (Daughters of Zion) and Movement for the Restoration of Igbo/Hebrew Dignity and Unity, are into raising, packaging, education and empowerment of the Nigerians especially the poor. The group has offices in every state of the nation and has been doing charity works for over five years. According to her, the group chose Igbo women because they are embodiment of order. She posited that the Igbos are Jews and should be meant to take their righty in the comity on nations.
The Archbishop said the reason why the activities of her group revolve around women is to raise women who will go into politics and help in developing the nation. The group is embarking on nationwide sensitization campaign to encourage women to seek for elective positions in the forthcoming election.
