Some journalists on investigation about a staff of Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission ( ICPC) that subscribed to one Estate at Airport road Pyakassa in Abuja , the Estate is called Excellent Men Homes, this ICPC staff name is Mr. Wale Adenuga, this man has been having issue with the management for some time now. Mr. Wale refuse to complete his payment for the plot of land and infrastructure levy he subscribed to with the management of the Estate as agreed, this man who has started work in the site without completing his payments. The Estate management asked him to stop work on the site. This is based on the fact that he has refused to pay the complete money. On Monday 19th May 2014, he came with 3 police man to the site led by one SSgt Babangida to forcefully
continue work on his site but they met with stiff opposition from the management who stood their ground that he must complete his payments as agreed, Police ACCOSS team 14 led by ASP Banjo
Sikiru from Lugbe Div. was invited by the C.S.O of the Estate to clear the ugly situation already created by these ICPC staff. The leader of the ACCOSS team pleaded with the management to let him continue his work while making him to promise that he will complete his payments the following day been 20th May 2014 ,still Mr. Adenuga did not pay the money on that day as promised ,the management have to stop him again.
This staff of ICPC surprisingly on Friday 23rd of May 2014 brought some policemen from ICPC led by one Police Inspector Brown to arrest Mr. Chibuzor Ndubusi and Engr. Tunde Alabi who are both staff of the Estate claiming that they are been held hostage until their managers show face at the National headquarters of ICPC in Abuja. We also gathered that this same Mr. Adenuga has threatened the staff of the Estate with Gun on two different occasions while this same matter of alleged fraud and embezzlement has been in EFCC (CTGI Department) and also in the court. Other staff of ICPC in the same Estate were okay with the management of the Estate and have paid up their money as agreed.
