NNPC to officially support offshore West Africa

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has officially confirmed their support for the upcoming Offshore West Africa 2015 Conference & Exhibition by agreeing to have the event held Under the Auspices of their organization upon its return to Nigeria once again.
In a released issued by PennWell Corporation and made available to newsmen said that the 19th Annual Offshore West Africa will take place at The Eko Convention Center, Eko Hotel & Suites, Lagos, Nigeria on 20-22 January 2015.
The statement noted that the Offshore West Africa will continue to be the premier conference and exhibition for the offshore oil and gas exploration & production industry within West Africa.
According to the statement, “PennWell Corporation is pleased to once again work closely with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation in this exciting and growing offshore market within West Africa. Offshore West Africa is a truly West African event and addresses key technology and development issues for the West African offshore oil and gas market, through a comprehensive educational program and three-day exhibition, under the conference theme – Managing West Africa’s Major Projects.
Offshore West Africa 2015 will continue to feature a technical and strategic conference program developed by an Advisory Board comprised of leading industry experts, as well as an exhibition showcasing products, technologies and services from global and regional oil & gas companies, held concurrently, bringing together exhibitors and attendees from around the world for three days of education, networking and new business development.”
They further stated that in addition to the announcement of the return of Offshore West Africa to Nigeria, as well as the support of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, the Advisory Board has recently announced the opening of the 2015 Conference Call for Abstracts, with a deadline for abstract submittal set for 13 May 2014.
“Offshore West Africa has released the Technical Focus Areas that any abstract should be based upon. These technical focus areas are listed as follows; to have your presentation considered for the technical session program, please submit your 100-400 word abstract on one or more of the technical focus areas listed.
